COVID-19 Health and Safety
In planning for FAME Center Camp, the leadership team relied on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. FAME Center continues to monitor recommendations and will adjust our health and safety policies as they advise.
As part of our effort to provide the safest possible environment for campers and employees, FAME Center highly recommends vaccination for all eligible campers. Proof of vaccination is required for all FAME Center employees.
Indoor Policy- Everyone must wear masks correctly to cover both nose and mouth at all times while indoors in public spaces including hallways, studios, and offices regardless of vaccination status. Surgical, KN95, KF94 or N95 masks are recommended.
Outdoor Policy- In accordance with the CDC, people do not need to wear masks when outdoors (e.g., participating in outdoor play, recess, and physical education activities), however it is still recommended that those who are not fully vaccinated wear a mask in crowded outdoor settings or during activities that involve sustained close contact with other people. We will monitor activities and encourage respectful masking as is deemed necessary.
In the event of possible exposure or a positive case of COVID-19
Campers deemed to have exposure to a positive case of COVID-19 will be isolated and caregivers will be contacted to pick up their child as soon as possible. We require a proof of a negative PCR test before campers can return.
