Is FAME Center affiliated with Willow Creek Community Church? 

No, FAME Center is a 501(c)(3) and is not affiliated with Willow Creek Community Church. 

 

Are lunch and snacks provided? 

Campers need to bring their own lunch, including a water bottle and a 2 separate snacks for the morning and afternoon, each day. Please label the lunch box/bag with your child’s full name. Please do not send candy, gum or soda. No refrigeration or heating is available, so please pack non-perishable food. Please do not bring food for your camper to share. NO NUTS ALLOWED.

THEATER CAMP: campers should come prepared to work having already eaten lunch; campers are encouraged to bring snacks for our enjoyment in between our camp class and the rehearsal.

 

What medical and emergency information do you need for my child? 

During the registration process, you will be asked to provide an emergency contact, any known allergies, and any medications your child will need to bring to camp (i.e Epipens, etc.)

 

What is FAME Center doing to ensure health and safety needs are met? 

FAME Center will continue to follow the guidelines of the CDC, as well as City and State safety mandates. 

 

Does my camper need to be vaccinated?

Currently all FAME Summer Camp faculty and staff are required to be vaccinated; we are not requiring students to be. We are however in support of vaccination for your camper. Do you administer first aid? How do you handle emergency situations?

FAME Center staff will administer first aid if needed. In the event of a medical emergency, the camper’s emergency contact will be immediately notified and 911 will be called.

 

What should my camper wear to camp? 

Campers should wear clothing that allows them to be comfortable and physically active! Spring Break Camp activities will take place primarily indoors, but if weather permits some outdoor playtime will be included in the day. Summer Camp activities will take place both indoors and outdoors.

We recommend bringing/wearing tennis shoes, weather appropriate outerwear, and a sweatshirt or light overlayer to wear inside so that campers can regulate their own comfort.

Campers should bring an art smock or old t-shirt to wear during art activities to protect their clothes.

THEATER CAMP: classes will be largely physical, please dress to move and bring layers to remain comfortable in air conditioning, performance clothes/costumes will be a combination of students available wear and sourced pieces - specifics will be discussed during the week. 

 

Can my child be in the same pod as their friend? 

Pods will be determined based on age. We will do our best to honor friend requests, provided they are in the same age group. Friend requests can be made during the registration process.

THEATER CAMP: skills classes will be split largely based on age, but we will honor requests as we are able; play casting will be determined by faculty based on the needs of the productions.

 

What should my camper bring to camp? 

Campers should bring labeled lunch, 2 snacks and water bottle, as well as sunscreen and insect repellent.

What are your age requirements?

Spring Break and Summer Camps are open to rising Kindergarteners-4th graders (ages 4-10)!

THEATER CAMP is open to rising 6th-10th graders (ages 11-16).

 

Do you offer refunds for camp? 

No refunds will be given for withdrawal from Spring Break Camp or Theater Camp.
 

Campers who withdraw from Summer Camp prior to May 17, 2024, will receive a full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee. No refund will be given for withdrawals after May 17, 2024.

 

FAME Center Camp tuition cannot be prorated or refunded for camp absences.
